Here is link with a live from YELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA. The drummer is playing a SDSV. If you pay attention, you can see how the polycarbonate surfaces are muffled in order to make them more playable. The amazing mark II pads!!!. They were ( and still are )really cool, but not the most comfotable to play.

What a coincidence - I listened through a bunch of Takahashi albums
while fixing my Chroma on the livingroom floor earlier today.
