One of the last mysteries of mankind: The SDS7 cymbal pads

Where have you guys been?! I sold two of these last year and informed the group of their auctions. They were New Old Stock in the original boxes from St. Albans. I kept some for myself. The ones mounted on the rack look like mock-ups. The Arc-de-Cymbal looks like the real deal but, I've never seen them in any color other than white.

The price list from 1983 is definetely referring to this one: http://www.simmonsmuseum.com/p/pads/sds5_cymbal_white_front.jpg which is an SDSV pad. The SDSV cymbal module/pad came out in 1983 while the SDS7 cymbal pad prototype was 1986 or 1987. And yes, the SDSV cymbal pad was already "stereo" although not every cymbal module supported the separate bell trigger

Those you have sold were SDSV cymbal pads. They are different
