MTM and midi thru

MTM and midi thru

2011-12-10 by jesper

I do remember having hooked up my two MTM's so that thru of the first
went to midi in on the second. Both were on the same midi channel and
responded to different note numbers when played from a midi keyboard.

Today the second won't listen to incoming commands. I bypassed the first
and the second works. This makes me think that I somehow forgot some
software setting.

Same goes for the new third MTM that arrived today. All works but it
won't listen to midi when fed from any of the others thru output.

The manual is no help... are you guys? :)

Thanks WT, I'll route it through a splitter then. :)
While at it, two of my MTM's has version 4 and one has version 3 of the
software. If there is one freezing up from now and then it's the one
with version 3. Does anyone recognise this behaviour?

Good thing I had one in a three outs to spare on my midipatch. :)
Now all three MTM triggers the way they should and I can continue to
hook up the newly arrived...
