channel problems

channel problems

2011-12-06 by iantoau

hello everyone.

i don't want to nag too much as i have seen someone getting hot under the collar lately (and that is definitely not my intent) but i have done a bit of a re-solder to the channels on my sds800 and sds8 but the bleed of tone/noise has not gone away. is there a component i should be looking at that will solve this problem? has anyone else had this problem? if so, how did you get rid of it? it is not on every channel, just a couple per each unit.

thanks

p

Hi,

I don't follow exactly. Is the bleed within each channel? I e noise
coming through when only tone seleced and vice versa? Or do you mean
between channels, i e the sound of one channel resounding in another.

Are you checking this with individual outs or the mix output? And, last
but not least, it's not crosstalk on the inputs?
