Yep.

With no manual, non-working HD, no sounds on floppy, non-working drive,
missing buttons etc....

Then it is too much.

Seriously, too little info to make a proper statement.

Congrats.
Hope u can find some pads, it's a bit pity if you've gotta use it with normal
pads.

well in the past 5-6 years ago i paid 1000 sterling and 800 sterling for pads manuals racks stands 6-7pads + 3 symbals per kit

i recall one sdx brain on ebay for around 2-300 sterling
usual disclaimer that market forces apply

you really need the discs and without zi pads it really becomes just another drumset
good luck

Um, you CAN'T use it with "normal" pads wth exception to the BD & Snare rim... Decent price though if she boots.

There was one on eBay with "defective" software. I think that listing lasted for over two years. If memory serves, it was listed with a BIN at right around 1K. I don't think it ever sold... And again, without the pads all you have is BD and rim with the piezos. I suppose one could buy a TMI or Aphex Impulse, but you still wouldn't be able to unleash it's full potential. - Roland

Sure, if fully loaded, in mint condition, and included the complete software library. Without the O/S, it's pretty much a boat anchor and would only be worth something if parts can be salvaged. - Roland

Simmons SDX

2012-07-22 by bunman1873

Hi everyone

My Simmons SDX has this symptom recently!!!!
It seems 4 voices wont sound and weirdest thing... The voices that do work cant be replaced even if deleted and replaced
Reloading a new disk sound or sample sound into an existing instrument does nt change the sound even though it loads ..Also making the slot blank and and reloading a fresh sound does nt work either .I m baffled any advice or help would be great .
Everything else functions normaly
