Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Hi

I've just started druming again after taking nearly 10 years out and have fired up my SDE. Its noisy but I love the sounds it makes so I'm going to get a stereo gate to sort that issue and then use it as the sound source for my DIY silicon Mallet project.  

So far I've designed the BarKeys virtually and tracked down trigger to midi circuitry which I think I can customise for use with so many triggers.

I may run a blog on it but I'll also post in here once I have something to post and I will be asking questions to see if anyne can help me at times I'm sure.
