Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Hi guys,

I'm two fader knobs missing from the front of my SDS2000. While this is purely cosmetic it bothers me to certain degree!

Can anyone suggest what size faders I would need to replace them (or does anyone have any spare?). I took a punt on some from an internet electronics supplier recently but they were the wrong size.

Thankfully the two I was missing were red!

Not sure if he posts here, but the seller Colin fixed my SDS7 brain a few months back. He's a top bloke and I'm eternally grateful to him.

Hi all,

I know the SDS 2000 isn't the most popular Simmons around here but just in case anyone still needs faders I bought some of these for my mixer the other day and noticed that they were identical to the faders on the SDS2000:

While we're on the subject of the SDS2000, did Simmons ever make a sound card for it as the slot features quite prominently on the front? I've never seen one.

Hi,

I've got one card for the 2000 called "Various Sounds 2".
But I also got the Trixer MK II, that has double the sets of the normal one (from 4 to 8) and I guess that's all the
cards there were thrown in as a bonus in the last days of Simmons. It's basically the SDS2000 in mixer form.
