Knob Caps

2010-05-14 by Ed

Hey all.
Check out the knob cap pictures I uploaded to the 'Photos' section. The company that makes them, Elma, has a crazy minimum order so I used it as an excuse to go nuts. PM me if you need any because I've got tons of 'em - red, blue, yellow, black and stock gray. The red ones look downright sinister on the SDSV!
Thanks.
Ed

Knob Caps

2011-08-01 by Ed

Hey all.
Just got a fresh batch of new OEM knob caps. They are the small, most common size - see reference picture in Photos > Knob Caps > Knob Sizes - and fit most SDSV (SDS5), SDS6, SDS7, Digital Clap Trap and back of SPM 8:2. $.50 each, plus shipping ($1 US, $3 Worldwide).
Also willing to trade small knobs and caps for larger ones.
Email for details.
Thanks!
Ed

hey Ed,

The ones I need are quite small, for an SDS-8, and have white marking lines on the top (instead of black) - and the blue is sort of a "light blue". Would what you have on hand (possibly not your new caps but the Simmons caps you have) work in my situation?
Thanks,
Chris

If not, search for Cliff Electronics. They make knobs that match. Same
style as on some other UK synths from the time. I've bought a bunch of
two different sizes for my EDP Wasps and Gnats and the infamous Groove
Electronics Stinger.

Thanks, Chris! I had mentioned to keep an eye on eBay UK as there was a guy that sporadically listed them and, like magic, there they are!
