Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Greetings all...
I have recently acquired a Digital Clap Trap in desperate need of
some tlc and was wondering if anyone out there had any documentation
for this unit vis-à-vis manuals and/or schematics they could
provide me with... there's virtually nothing on the web that I could
find. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

the circuit diagram somewhere, will try to dig it out.

Now see what you guys made me do. I’ve taken delivery on a near mint Digital Clap Trap with manual and original box.

You probably know by now first thing I did where to remove the lid and peak inside :-) Think I understand most of the analog parts, but without the schematic I’m little stuck on the humanizer.

Anyone understand how the sample address counters are seed from the humanize circuit, or can help me with schematics?
From listening to the device I'm guessing it only alter a few start addresses. But my leaking brain like details :-) Do it set the counters or address pin directly etc. etc.?

The sample in itself is also rather peculiar. Made me wonder if it is conscious edited to function with different playback speeds? Anyway its rather clever how it works together with the humanizer. Wonder how that work out with other samples?
