Hello,
I just forgotten to mention the PEARL DRX1 analog drum module....
On it,the noise and the tone is filtered....
For me,one of the better and more playable analog drum brain,I think more powerfull than the SDS5....

I'm a Pearl Drum-X owner... A part of the ugly octagonal pads, the sounds are very nice. I think it is a very flexible analog drum. Setting some particular parameters, you can obtain very "acoustical" sounds!

Yes,I think too,we can make very "acoustic" sound, the overtone parameter is very important in this case......
But I like it better to make SDS5 style sounds....(for me better than SDS5!)
I have to make a paper with parameters list for my favorite sounds...so you can try these on your DrumX....And perhaps you could make the same with your sounds for me.....
See you soon and have a nice weekend.

Yes, Drum-X is nice but I prefer knobs and the ability to fine adjust
settings.

Hi Thierry ...

I like very much this Pearl unit...
It sound great & different from the sDSV ... I wouldn't say more
powerful in the sound texture ...
But more versatile maybe ...
Definitely another colour ... Very interesting...
