Hi,
It's obviously UP, or Ultimate Percussion. I have a drum brain (K2-X)
which is one of those I use the most and have had a few pads but sold
them...

Here's a picture of mine: http://www.electronic-obsession.se/studio/studio_sting_drums_n_echo_web.jpg (the green one in the middle) I used to own two standard pads with it along with a standalone pad like this one: http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/2008/03/up-ultimate-percussion-super-analogue.html The K2-X is marvellous but the built in pad sounded like any crappy "submarine ping-drum" out there. The pads however, are quite nice and has a good feel to them. Hey Jesper, can you send me a close up of the K2X ? I own the K2 and I'm curious what the difference is (except for the green and the size ;-) Best Thomas On May 28, 2009, at 12:37 PM, jesper wrote: > milos amun skrev: >> Thanks Jesper, I have tried researching Ultimate percussion on the >> internet and can't find anything so i guess it is pretty rare stuff. >> Checked out your myspace, Love it! I'll get to this offlist later. It's a very busy week for me here at work... But, they sure look very similar when it comes to features. I guess the factory presets are different since the K2 is clearly marked how it's intended to sound. The K2-X have eight identical channels and can do all sorts of John Foxxish sounds. :D -- electronically yours, jesper - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - www.electronic-obsession.se www.myspace.com/machinepop

Here's a picture of mine:
http://www.electron ic-obsession. se/studio/ studio_sting_ drums_n_echo_ web.jpg
(the green one in the middle)
I used to own two standard pads with it along with a standalone pad like
this one:

The K2-X is marvellous but the built in pad sounded like any crappy
"submarine ping-drum" out there. The pads however, are quite nice and
has a good feel to them.

The early roland pads had nearly the same shape, perhaps not what you're after Berk
