sdsv xlr cables
2008-06-22 by skraelingers
hi, i'm inexperienced with studio technology as you are about to see...
my sdsv came without cables, so I'm wondering what to look for.
- I heard the sdsv xlr wiring is a bit different, does this affect
what cable I have to get?
- Does the xlr cable from pad to brain have to be a microphone or a
loudspeaker type of xlr?
- Can the brain (stereo mix output) to stereo (cinch) be just a normal
adapter cable?
- If I use a mixer inbetween, what kind of xlr cable from brain to
mixer (trs or xlr) does it have to be?
any other cable specifications important?
is there anything else to pay attention to (e.g. to not blow the brain
or the stereo)?
Thankyou,
dennis
