Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

i manage to win the auction of an sdsv snare module the other day...
$114 + another $16 for the shipping, great deal was'nt it? the one i
have in "the brain" right now i think must be broken so now i will get
another one for a-b test ..... been waiting about two years for this
opportunity so..... YEEAAH! .... the "click" sound much louder
than "piow" .... tom-modules and bassdrum modules "piow" have almost
same output level.... snare drum tend to sound thin and much less than
the other 4 modules, anyone have a clue what failure it might be ?

my "new" sdsv snare module arrived today and i realized that there are something broken on the other snare module. where or who could i ask to get my snare module fixed ?

quite happy now ;=) still hunting for a hi-hat or cymbal module..... if you wanna sell, just send me an personal message please.....

Make it your own personal project and learn something on the way. I
kicked my SDS-IV back to life by comparing to the working channel :)

You can always send it to someone to get it fixed if you don't like
poking around with it. Someone on the list maybe or check with one of
the "SAS-guys".
