Simmons drums for sale

2007-07-27 by jon67981

Hello there

First time ive used this site so here goes,

I have for sale 3 Simmons kits in various states of workig order. I
was thinking of putting them on e-bay but I,ll give this a go first.

In brief. Kit 1 SDS9 Very good condition for age. Recently bought of
e-bay. Works well through PA but headphone socket noisey. Colour
Black complete with Simmons rack.

Kit 2 SDS9 Poor condition. Stopped working suddenly about 10 years
ago.It would trigger but no output The idea was to use the working
kit to repair the this one but I have no time. Rack is very rusty and
fittings and clamps starting to fail.Writing on brain is very faided
4 knobs broken.Pads Black and Black/White

Kit 3 SDS7 Stopped using this kit when I bought first SDS9. Has 7
soundcards but the base drum one stopped working, Base drum pad and 3
normal pads have xlr outputs. Other 2 pads have jacks but are in very
poor condition. Also with this kit is the square box that has the 16
Simmons hexagonal shapes on which when hit will change the selected
kit. I never used this so I dont know if it works. Also comes with
Memory Cassette and 4/5 additional e-proms. No rack with this kit but
base drum has origonal spurs.

I think my e-mail adress shows with this message so if anyone is
interesrted I will try to get back to them. If no interest look on e-
bay soon and you may grab some cheap 70s stuff.

Jon

Hi!

Do tell us prices and we might buy! :) Also consider splitting stuff... I'd
like some loose voice boards from the SDS-7...
And another thing, none of these Simmons sets are from the 70's!

electronically yours, jesper

Simmons drums for sale

2007-08-01 by jon67981

Hello all again

As mentioned before 3 kits for sale in differnt state of repair.

Prices

For the good SDS9, I paid £250 on e-bay + £50 postage so if that
money interests anyone let me know.

The 'poor' condition SDS9 & SDS7 between £150 -£200 if all sold
together + postage. Will also include Roland Drum Machine TR 626 if
near top end of asking price.

I live in UK near Stansted airport ( check Google earth) and am happy
to let people see kits before sale.

I think these are reasonable prices but if I am wrong please accept
my appolgies.

I have been honest with description of kits so please take note of
conditon of items being offered. I will give it a couple of days then
list on e-bay. To the guy that corrected me about the age of this
gear I stand corrected.

Take care all

Jon
