Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Hi all

Someone knows if it is possible to use the SDX Hi-Hats pedal  to control the sds-7 Hi Hats 
card ?

NO!!!  Don't even try! You might blow your SDX pedal. The original
pedal works with a light barrier. Therefor it is feeded with (when I
remember right) 15V by the SDS7. This might be enought to "melt" 3rd
party pedals which are based on other principles
