Hello. Just recently re-purchased an SDS-1 and need some eproms or copies. If anyone can help, let me know what you have and prices. Thanks a ton! JK

If you're in the US, I can help you. I have many, many eproms. I'll try and look for the list. I think they were about $20US each back in the day. If you know what type of sounds you're looking for I'm sure I have something. Let me know. T --- In Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com, "synthmesc" <synthmesc@...> wrote:

Very cool! Snare sounds, the classic Simmons tom sounds, kick drums if they made them. Just about anything really. Let me know if you find the list. Thanks a ton, I'm psyched! Jeff K

There are a lot of different snares and toms around for the SDS-1, but I don't think I've ever seen an original bass drum prom. I doubt they ever sounded anything good as digital proms... electronically yours, jesper - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - www.electronic-obsession.se Order your own copy of the Machinepop/Imiafan split-EP at www.electronic-obsession.se/label.asp "Folk med riktiga skivsamlingar har riktiga spelare" (Daniel Araya) ----- Original Message -----

All proms are digital. There are several Bass drum "digital" eproms for the SDS 1. FYI: these same eproms work with the SDS7 as well. How good they sound....well....that's all relative. Ear of the beholder. You know.... -T- --- In Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com, <jesper@...> wrote: > > There are a lot of different snares and toms around for the SDS-1, but I > don't think I've ever seen an original bass drum prom. OK, I didn't know that... Anyway, if you're looking for that genuine and "fat" Simmons sound in the bass kick I doubt the SDS-1 can help. ;) Even a SDS-8 can take you a long way there though I guess the SDS-V is the mother of all 80's kicks! :) electronically yours, jesper - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - www.electronic-obsession.se Order your own copy of the Machinepop/Imiafan split-EP at www.electronic-obsession.se/label.asp "Folk med riktiga skivsamlingar har riktiga spelare" (Daniel Araya) ----- Original Message -----

Hi, It's the first time I read this forum. I have an EPROM programmer and I have downloaded some sounds files from SimmonsMuseum web site. I don't know where you live but I can make you some EPROM and send them. But I don't know if I will be able to find some 2764! I will ask to my supplier.
