Question on Simmons Drum Rack

Question on Simmons Drum Rack

2006-08-29 by hamsterdrum85

Hi,

Does anyone know how long the pipes are for a simmons rack?

The only parts I want to know are the cross bar, upright bars, and
bass drum poles. I can accept measurements in metric (centimeters,
meters, etc.) or standard English units (feet and inches).

Thank You

Dean Rumsey

as long as you want them to be
the one thing is the diameter
and that's a standard size

good luck

Re: Betr: [Simmons Drums] Question on Simmons Drum Rack

I have done some scaling from some photographs I have of Simmons
kits. I have estimated the parts to be:

crossbar=30" x 1 1/2 (750mm x 38.1mm)"
uprights=40" x 1 1/2 (1000mm x 38.1mm)"
bass poles=12" x 7/8 (350mm x 19.1mm)"

For those of you who own either a black Simmons rack or an Ultimate
drum rack, I am wondering if my approximate measurements are exactly
right. Oh, and I forgot about the leg pipes. Does anyone know how
long the long legs are for the main rack (not the short legs on the
extension rack)?

Does anyone know how big the rack is?

Thanks.

I would use a curved bar 40" for the crossbar
and 30" for the uprights
if you like I can measure my own tama rack
perhaps this can be a bit of help

BERK!

BTW: How about my question for the scematics of the Silicon Mallet?????
