Hi Thomas. Today I received all simmons schematics ever available as
ORIGINALS from former service headmaster of germany, Ralph Reichen. This was
the man running the repair and modification shop after achim "archie"
lenzgen, one of the best service techs worldwide. I will have time like 3
weeks to scan and copy. I think, some of them will be released at
www.simmonsmuseum.com later. Drop me a mail with your address and you will
receive the SDS6 schematics as soon as I have scanned them. Some of them are
big like towels and drawn by hand. I will have a lot of work...

Re: [Simmons Drums] sds-6 schematics

2006-08-06 by berkaarts

Hey Guys
I'm new here so let me introduce myself

My name is Berk Aarts
a percussion player from Holland with a lot of interest in Electronic
Percussion and melodic percussion
A few years ago I bought a Simmons Silicon Mallet
One little problem
it was only the pad (?) surface
I thought I could find the schematics and work out the way the thing
worked, but hey I couldn't find the scheman's nor found enough time
for working it around
Is it correct that there is a guy out here who has the schematics??
I build my own marimbacontroller by now but I think the simmons will
work a lot better if I just could get it working

My question is quite simple

Can someone get me the schematics of the sillicon mallet ( or even
better has the controller, there should be at least 1 out there
without the playing surface right?)--

It would be really cool if that's possible
I owned the sdx ( unfortunately I had to sell it) and once found a
guy in France who owned the schematics of the SDX but he couldn't get
me the schematics of the Silicon Malllet
I think his name was Patrice G. ( dont know) and I lost his
mailadress due to a computercrash

Thanks for any help

greetz BERK!
