Or Wolfie who just had all the luck in the world and found a mint one... but 
on the other hand. The SDS-2 is mine and it stays here... I guess there are 
at least 50-100 more SDS-3's out there. ;)

The Pollard stuff was designed as additions to acoustic sets so they do all 
the disgusting disco toms of the 70ies, submarine pings, metallic *clonks* 
and LFO-modulated mayhem. It's not your favourite bass-and-snare-set (like 
the SDS-IV for example) but more cowbell-metallic 
plate-birdsong-discodrum-set... are you with me?! ;)

Yeah, that's pretty much what I figured, and also why I held off on pursuing
one.  I can't imagine anything does that as good as the Syncussion.  Those
A, B, & E waveshapes are just brutal, and the sample and hold is worth the
price alone.  God, I love that thing (my favorite triggers too).
