Short story: I had "lost" an SDS9 brain auction. The seller found out that the unit was broken so the buyer did not want it anymore. Therefor the seller offered it to me. I asked him wether he had more Simmons stuff for sale and he said: "Well, something very old which I do not dare to sell" (the SDS 3). He bought it new 25 years ago and did not have any idea what to do with it. His plan was to put it up on Ebay at a start price of 200 Euros, but I offered him 300 for the SDS 3 and the broken SDS 9 brain and of course the SDS 3 pads. It is still very clean and in very good condition. The Pads are displayed on my site too. --- In Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com, <jesper@e...> wrote: > Monty Pyton mode on: > > "You lucky, lucky, lucky bastard..." > > Monty Pyton mode off. > > Congrat's! Found the picture of the pads later - just two or all four? Anyway, a neat bargain. I'm still on the lookout for one to complete my 1-5 series. ;) Had to comfort myself by noticing you have no hihat module for the SDS-V. ;) electronically yours, jesper - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - www.electronic-obsession.se ----- Original Message -----

Click the gallery link next to the pad intro picture, there you'll find the "whole beauty" > Had to comfort myself by noticing you have no hihat module for the SDS-V. ;) I am patient... In the meantime I will slightly console myself with the rest of my humble collection ;-)))))
