New to the list, just dug out my SDS7

New to the list, just dug out my SDS7

2005-08-04 by gordon@gjcp.net

Hi all,
A few years ago I bought an SDS7 in rather sad condition (big dent in the
front and the encoder shaft broken, and various things disconnected or
broken inside). I got it going, played with it a bit, and boxed it up
about a year and a half ago when I moved house. Finally I dug it out,
having spotted an SDS8 kit on eBay UK. I've also got an SDS1 pad

There's a couple of things I'd like to find out. Firstly, does anyone
have a list of "factory" sample ROMs for it? Or even better, dumps of the
ROMs that I can blow for it?

I'm also looking for the users manual. I've already downloaded the
service manual - this will be invaluable in getting the thing working
properly. Although the basic functions are pretty simple, I'm sure
there's a lot of clever stuff that it does that I'm just not finding.

Lastly, if anyone has any bits to sell for the SDS7, working or not, then
I'd love to know about them. A set of pads would be great, but I'm a
truly terrible drummer so I'm happy to stick to triggering it off a
sequencer for now! Any voice cards in any condition would be great.

Gordon.

Hi Gordon, I have a white SDS7 pad for sale. Fully working and in
pretty good condition. For details please read my former posting:

Any questions are welcome
Bye
