the sds9 rack ears were nothing more than a piece of shet metal bent 90 degrees to fix to the sides of sds and the to front of the rack i'd suggest making a template from cardboard and visit a sheet metal worker who has a press - steel sheel was 1mm-1.5mm thick from memory sadly i've not got any photos but they are not rocket science or a cast maetal unit like on some of the 1-2u racks
