Hello everyone!

Hello everyone!

Hi!

My name is Wout from The Netherlands. My age is 21 and I'm happy that
I've found this group, 'cause the info on the internet is very
minimal.

I'm a proud owner of a Simmons SDS-7 (with 10 cards) and a SDS-400.
At this moment I'm still searching for the original Simmons-pads.

At this moment I'm the drummer of the band Moonlight District. A very
succesfull New Refined pop-group from The Netherlands. I'm using
Simmons for a really good reason. I really like the sound! Previously
I used some Roland electronics (SPD-20 etc) but the problem was that
the sounds coming from roland (they're samples) didn't come through
the mix very well, especially live! The sound of the SDS-7 is so big
and steady that it's even good mixable with my acoustic drum-kit!

So I'm in love with this equipment. :)

I hope we can help each other here with info and stuff. Maybe I have
something that is worth posting here: the SDS-7 manual... Let me know
if I have to get my scanner connected. ;)

Thanks!

Wout
