I recieved it too but the message body says :

"This message had an attachment which were found to contain the following virus(es):

    File 'patrice.doc.pif' was infected with virus 'W32.Bugbear.B.Dam' (ID 33489)

The infected file(s) were cleaned or removed from the attachment"

What is attached is a clean version of the mail from Jeff to Patrice.

I believe my ISP is cleaning up the mail before it reaches me or that F-Secure does it ( though it doesn´t look like an F-Secure thing ).

Actually this is the second time in a week I get a "Simmons" related email with a virus-warning in it.

Hi Lars,
it's the second one for me, too. Likely we have an infected member, so
check your (Window-)machines.

sorry if a virus is using my name...
someone from my adress book received  an infected mail from Phil Murray that he never wrote neither a few months ago ...

Yes the SDX  schematics do exist (but are expensive) !
Didn't we already talk about it together ?

Hi Folks, It seems that someone is using my name, I did not send an email with a virus 
attached. I did correspond with Patrice a while back about the schematics (last year I 
think). I am not using Windows or a PC and have never received a virus from this group. Is 
there anything I can do to prevent this from happening in the future?? Cheers to you all,

viruses are going through adresses boxes , the only thing we can do is checking ou computer are safe or infected, & eventually to find the antidote ...
