I did speak to him & I'm currently waiting for some answers ...
You're right to hesitate to contact him , even if I know him I did hesitate too .

Dave doesn't want to hear about EDrums anymore & feel quite bitter about it.
& he's probably right !
Of course everything we're dreaming about (like finishing the SDX software & updates), he dreamt about it before us...so if he didn't do it , it's because he didn't have money enough to do it.
He did everything to maintain his companies alive ...& couldn't in the end ...
So I presume if we all come with our questions , I'm afraid he's closing the doors definitely .
I will talk about this FSRs thing to him & we'll see, but Dave is very long to answer(it can be a few months...), as he changed of business it's taking him more time than ever to check anything about Edrums...

You need to know that most things about Edrums disappeared ...
So there's only a small hope about it ...but some hope in the end ...

Do you mean that Interlink would agree a new production of FSRs if we did have the templates back ?
Maybe that just sending them a used FSR could be enough for them...

In fact there's only 3 FSRs models ; 1 TOM / SNRE, 1 Symbal, & 1 HHpedal ...
There was a prototype of ZI Hexahead but sadly , the devellopper couldn't make it work ...

Bye,
 Patrice.

  On the F.S.R. topic...

Interlink was the manufacturer for Simmons' various SDX F.S.R.
elements. I checked with the company (still in business here in
California) and asked if they still had templates or parts for any or
all of the Simmons SDX pads and pedals.

Sadly, they do not. They said all the original templates and plans
were sent back to Dave Simmons some years ago. If he has any of the
stuff, it would be wonderful to get our hands on it.

I know where Dave is today but hesitate attempting to contact him
about drums. Any opinions, or has anyone actually spoken to him?
