I just bought a Simmons MTM on eBay for what I thought was a reasonable price. It has five of its front-panel knobs missing. I thought I had some replacements, but it turns out they are a similar design, but have a longer shaft (possibly they're from an SDS1000?). I could try to shorten the shafts, but I doubt whether that could be done reliably. I also have a dead SPM8:2 with similar-looking knobs, but they don't have any shaft. So can anyone suggest where I might find some MTM knobs, or suitable replacements?
