I guess that must make it one of the rarest Musicaid/Simmons devices around. I really must upload some tracks I've been working on with my Clap Trap. I've been triggering it from the programmable accent output of my Boss DR-55, which is how I think The Cure often used it. If your not familiar with them, then the so called "Langham Session" that they recorded in 1980 are well worth checking out. Drummer Lol Tolhurst doesn't seem to have been present, perhaps dealing with the consequences of his mother's illness and subsequent death that happened around this time, so it appears that Robert Smith and Simon Gallup recorded the session as a duo. The songs were then rerecorded for my favourite Cure album, Faith, where the Clap Trap is still in evidence on a number of tracks. I suspect the Clap Trap is responsible for the snare sound on Decades, my favourite track from Joy Division's Closer album. Decades : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMAB3r6EjcM Chris
