the original pushbuttons were made by C&K, but they are not available anymore. Dave Simmons recommended a successor model but it didn't fit into the socket :-|
I never made another attempt to solve this problem but probably somebody can check the original pushbutton specs and can recommend a substitute, probably at digikey.com where C&K components are available
