Simmons SDS 6 gate question

hello! so i am trying to get a simmons sds 6 to chase a clock pulse and i can't get it to play...

i see that it expects 15 volts. this is a lot...

but i am trying to lock it to a garfield electronics mini doc. i figured this would do it.
