just read though a bunch of the midibox site.  looks like a lot of work with a actually similar cost.
Analog Out modules require DACS and sometimes 2 at 30 euros each.  so says the documentation.  plus board kits etc etc, and an LCD to test the software which i have to configure somehow?   i like the spirit though.  very user configurable and art oriented.
i think i'm looking more for something thats not promised to be 35 + hours of work...
