Re: [Simmons Drums] Re: SIMMONS SDSV Rack Ears?

2011-04-17 by matthew dutton

Hi,
Sorry to jump on a thread but i am having the same issues, i have a Sds-V and
use it fairly regularly at gigs. So i've decided it needs a rack mounted flight
case so i can stop worrying everytime i see our TM pick it up.
Do you think you could make me a pair of ears? i would be more that happy to
pay, i just seem a bit lost as to which ones to get online. I have a carry case
ready with a rack but just haven't managed to finish the job.

Matt

A trip to the hardware store for some aluminum angle iron is the simplest. All
you need is a drill and some screws after that. Since the V is shallow and
relatively light weight ( as compared to stuff like amps ), you won't need to
support the back end either. If that's not possible for you, let me know and
I'll make up a set for you ( I have plenty of stock ).

GOOD LUCK !!
