Re: [Simmons Drums] SDSV HELP NEEDED!

2011-01-04 by Jacquot.Patrice@free.fr

I have to admit that serious technicians that I knew servicing Simmons had all the same reactions.
I know the one who serviced them for 10 years for the french distributor, He`s just hating Simmons.
It`s true that it`s not always seriously built unfortunetaly & stays quite unfinished or messy things.
We can understand that that guys dont have a clue of the sound it gives as they won`t use it. They`re just facing difficulties that isn`t happening with FAIRLIGHT EMU ROLAND etc ...& shouldn`t happen with some commercialised gear.

I love Simmons creations but I know what a pain it is to repair... :(
Not as serious as it should have been.
it definitely needs some work to meet the professional world & reach the crown jewels quality it deserves to be.

Anyway, we know that for long now ... Happy New Year.
