Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Hi list,

I used google translate and got the word "ring core transformer", does 
that mean anything to you guys? Anyway, the circular transformer type in 
most Simmons gear...

I received my second MTM today (thanks Philip!) after months of waiting 
(no thanks Canadian Post who just sat on it for weeks). Inside there 
were the familar transformer with with a bunch of unused cables tucked 
away in the lid. Am I hoping for too much or can these be used to make 
the MTM accept the 230 volts of my home studio? I'm running out of 
Ampere in my 110 volt system. :)
