I'm a vintage guy when it comes to my kit these days... even on this list. With the exception of my SDS-V mk1 bass drum all the others are from the 70's: MusicAid, Pearl and Pollard. Funky mix of plexiglass and wood. I've never had anyone complain about it though, not even during my married days.
