Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

I am moving ahead quickly on this project and have completed
reverse engineering the PCB. I have drawn up a new PCB ready to
be produced. I intend to make 1 unit as per the original schematics
so as to use as a point of reference whilst looking into a filter
alternative. I'm about to enter hospital for surgery and the project
will go on hold until Jan 2010 sometime. One quick question, does the
SSM2044 filter self oscillate at full Resonance on the snare module?

If not would it be a useful option to have available on a "cloned"
SDSV. I am aware some people would like separate click/drum and 
noise/tone rather than a simple balance for each. Is there any other features that would be nice to have? eg auto flam, auto roll etc

I'm off to hospital on Thursday morning so replies prior to them would be nice.=)
