Hi guys Yes, they DID come in Yellow!! I owned a set of them here in New Zealand, bought them brand new from the NZ dealer, ex-Split Enz musician Paul Crowther. Sold them in the early 90's. Tried tracking them down last year, but no luck... :( cheers all, Gwyn, ________________________________ From: superwolle70 <superwolle70@...> To: Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, 23 July, 2009 7:59:59 PM Subject: [Simmons Drums] Re: Simmons SDS8 Colours? Hi Matt, are you sure also the SDS8 pads appeared in yellow? Not only the MarkIII (SDS9 etc...)? Black, white and red are pretty common colors while bllue is a rare one. If you paint them they will definetely loose value, on the other hand they are not the most valuable pads even in good condition > > > > --- In Simmons_Drums@ yahoogroups. com, "milosakhamun" <milosakhamun@ > wrote: > > > > > > I own a set of sds8 pads which are black in colour. I want to paint them white, but I am wondering if this will devalue the pads? especially as they have the original stickers in place. > > > Was the black kit a common one?
