Hi I make electronic music and have always used drum machines and step sequencers to make my drums. I want to broaden my horizons and have got an SDSV and an old 5 piece Simmons kit. The problem is i dont know what to do about hihat, crash and ride. I want to trigger cymbal samples from my Jomox Xbase 999 and the rest from the SDSV. Should i sack off the Simmons kit and buy a new complete kit? (e.g. a cheap Roland V drum) or can anyone recommend individual pads and stands that will do the trick? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Pete
