Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Hi list!

Now, when I know I was beaten for sure, being the second caller on a 
swedish online ad, I can share what I saw in the ad;

I've never seen mark 1 pads with red hitting surfaces before. The image 
is circa 20 years old according to the seller and it doesn't look like a 
user paint job either despite the wear on the bass drum. Was it just me 
who thought there were only SDS-V sets with either black or white 
hitting surfaces?

The price was a rediculous 1000 SEK (less than 100 euros these days) and 
included the brain too. I had tormented myself enough so I never asked 
which sound cards was included in the brain. Since I counted six pads I 
imagine the answer would hurt even more. :S

Your views on the colour - please!
