I've finally decided to paint my shells from my SDS-1000.I have 7 toms and a bass.I've disassembled the pads and plan to give them a light rub with fine steel wool.I'm going to mask the edge that goes into the pad and the logos.I haven't decided on a color yet....but the black has got to go.
