if you're on a sdx why would you want to trigger a sds v ??!!
get the sounds you want and sample it itnto the sdx and you're away
i'm just about to start a whole batch of shell kits with a view to providing the playability and the sounds that seemed to be missing from the sdx patches i have aqquired when i got my units and the big simmons sound (in my case a sds9 unit ) will be the source
but voltages (or lack of ) is why you are not getting a trigger and given the fragile nature of sdsv and sdx i would not want to meddle too much
