De-Oxit D5 (and D100)... That's the cleaning spray I'd been trying to remember in
my previous post. That stuff kicks ass.
As a last resort, if your gear should go in for repair, be sure to explain to the repairperson exactly what the problem is or they'll mulch your gear to shit.
