Hola ! For those lucky few who happen to own one, I just completed the first retrofit in replacing the snare head ( see attach ). It's a perfect solution if your pads happen to be damaged or dry-rotted. It's also a nice thing to do if you want to ( like me ) preserve the original surfaces but still play the shit out of the rig. I may put together a method sheet eventually after I'm done with all of them. Also, anyone have any dead SDX pads they would be willing to part with ? Lookng for more to restore....
