See if I get this correct: You are in the USA where 110 V is the mains standard? You have a English piece off gear where the mains is 220 V? Am I correct?? If oyu don't put a powerturner in between, that is not gonna work (imo) Do you have the scematics, so you are sure you're measuring 5 where it should be 15Volt?
