My name is Maria and I am responsible for the liturgical music at Catholic Church. Recently, the church received a SD5K drum set as a free gift from a young drummer, who was completely discouraged as this drum stopped working right in the middle of the church service. He donated this drum to church. Now,hello! I am not a drummer. I am pianist/organist. I brought the drum to Guitar Center--they said that the "brain" is working. I do not have a main power supply jack. They said to contact the Simmons on internet to get a new one. So I wet on Simmonsdrum and came accross the warning message from the original Simmons (in England) that SD5K dig. drum set could be made in China (cheaply) not in England....and I should take it back to get money back if it is not working. I am shocked. What should I do. The drum set is already 2 years old (out of waranty). I need to get also a kick trigger, as it is missing from the set and an output Jacks to amplifier. I do not have anybody to work with on this issue. Please advise me. Also, is there any difference that I can find on this drum that shows that it was made in China; or any marks or signs to signify that was made in England. Lost drummer, Maria
