all right ...

I use (& used) quite often this technique (from what I see in the  
animation) even more when using pads ...
The motions ... Isn't it  the "Moeller" approach ?

But even so ...don't like Simmons touch in my wrists... & god knows if  
I like my Simmons ...

I could always feel the stick sending back some violence in my  
tendons...(even without holding them too tight...with the grip &  
balance point, & the wrist following the bounce...)

that's only my experience...  but I still don't like it very much... &  
of course for drummers who didn't manage stick shocks at all, it was  
worse...

For me, it stays the dark side of Simmons productions...unfortunetaly...
By the way the reason why they did it, is that it was giving them the  
best signal & response to trig the electronic ...

I admit that it's difficult to be pioneer ...
