Hi there,
I'm the buyer and certainly hold no grudges.  The brain works fine.  
Only the display goes out when the selector pad is connected.  I'm 
not too worried about it, but it would be cool to figure it out.  
I'll look a little closer at the multi-pin connectors when I get a 
chance.  Overall it's a great piece.
