IMHO and according to weekly Ebay excurses I'd say; SDS-2000 is bought by people with little money and the lust to get a Simmons. SDS-V are sought by vintage enthusiasts and analogue synth geeks along with all those that want the "classic" Simmons sound. The SDS-V brains still fetch high prices on Ebay. Just describe it well and take good pictures which is sure to include the hihatcard. Or simply buy a cheap TMI or similar and keep using the Simmons gear for midi recording! That'd be my own decision... -- electronically yours, jesper - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - www.electronic-obsession.se www.myspace.com/machinepop - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- -
