The battery is a rechargable 3.6V nickel-cadmium cell. Replace it with a battery of this type : http://www.elfa.se/elfa-bin/setpage.pl?http://www.elfa.se/elfa-bin/dyndok.pl?dok=4308.htm&lang=se WT http://medlem.spray.se/waveterm/LJLab2006/ ----- Original Message ----- From: Rob To: Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com Sent: Sunday, January 06, 2008 7:08 AM Subject: [Simmons Drums] Resurrect that SDS7 Ok, so I've plugged in that SDS7 I had since 1986, and it powers on etc but no sound comes out. I pulled all the modules and the card with the battery and it looks like this: http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=210159546/PictureID=4404152712/a=720 87350_72087350/t_=72087350 http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=210159546/PictureID=4404152713/t_=72 087350/a=72087350_72087350 Looks like some corrosion on the battery. So- Simmons made the battery permanent? What is it? Thanks! -Rob [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
