Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

There's a dedicated channel for the rimshot consisting of two proms: 
one for rimshot and one for cross stick, you can program if you want 
to use rimshot A or rimshot B..
However the input for the trigger signal is only one jack stereo: tip 
for the snare and sleeve for rimshot. The rimshot so is activates 
when you strike the border of the dual zone pad connected to this 
stereo input. All of this in theory because I don't have the dual 
zone pad... however I can trigger from a midi keyboard and the 
rimshot channel don't want to work...
If I put the snare prom into the rimshot slot, it don't work.
If I put the rimshot prom into the snare slot: it's ok...
