Hi there Dean,

Actually, there was an official adapter that Simmons released to 
mount the patch selector, it simply attaches to a tom arm and the 
selector slips onto it.  I'm lucky enough to have one but have never 
seen any others around.

It looks like something that could quite easily be made if you can 
get hold of a welder.
